When you become of a certain age, you find yourself jaunting to new places filled with intelligence & prestige...one might say, that of an art museum? Well, well, this funky & unique museum, known as the BROAD (pronounced as the Br-oh-d) is definitely not a bore fest. It is filled with excitement, color, energy, hipsters snapping selfies and if you look hard enough you will probably spot a celebrity trying to be "normal" (i.e. James Franco). I plugged in my headphones, turned up my jams & roamed around this fun and free might I add, DTLA hotspot.
What a hubs for planning this Mrs. quite the day in LA and being patient enough to take a shitload of snapshots as seen below...

A few "tips" for you future BROAD-ers:
1) Make an early timed online reservation. It might only be able to give you a reservation a couple months down the road, but it is nice to not have to stress about waiting in a massive line.
2) Once inside, make a quick jetset to the kiosks located before the giftshop...you'll probably notice a line there too. These are kiosks to help reserve for the special exhibits, such as the twilight room.
3) Take the elevator up! While you may think its for all of those baby strollers its got a pretty amazing glass inside that makes you feel like you're in Willy Wonka's space shuttle.
4) Take the stairs down & find two windows showcasing the vault in between the art museum's floors.
5) Don't forget to look for the buildings signature window dimple whilst inside & outside of the building.
